In France, the "5" was removed from the diamond. The origin of the 5th Division's motto, "We Will," is not known but it was used in World War One. The German gave the men of the division the name by which we are known today. They called them "Die rote Teufel"- -which in English is "Red Devils!” “Once a Red Devil”- “Always a Red Devil”

A story that is very old in all wars of a sacred job that was bestowed but just to a very few, who with all of their human compassions. Performed a task that was seldom known, only to God and the one’s that had passed on. They who had made the ultimate sacrifices and gave their life never to return home to moms, dads, brothers, sisters, girlfriends, children, or to their wife. Even thou the job grim and hard to bear each and everyone that passed thru were given special care.
