The memorial that stands today represents for all those who have
died in all wars. Its one of the first veteran’s memorial for
veterans of the Czech Republic, which has been unveiled since the fall of
communism in 1990.

Plzen’s Regional Military
Office of the army of the Czech Republic and Veterans of the Czech War Veterans
Association.

Veterans from the Czech Republic gathered for the observance of
remembrance of the ending of WW-II.
Veterans from the Czech Legionnaires, Czech War Veterans
Association, Army of the Czech Republic and local military enthusiast with
their WW-II uniforms and military vehicles paid tribute to the traditional
observance that is held each year in May, which has been held each year since
the fall of communism in 1990. Liberation of Czechoslovakia
by the U.S. Army in 1945.
